Comment on the Chinese earthquake reveals Sharon Stone's 'bad karma'

The Telegraph reports that the video of Stone making her comments to a television reporter at the Cannes Film Festival has received over 750,000 views on YouTube.

This is a transcript of that television interview.

Asked for her thoughts on the earthquake, she said: "You know, it was very interesting because at first I am not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans, because I don't think anyone should be unkind to anyone else, and so I have been very concerned about how to think and what to do about that because I don't like that.

"Then I have been concerned about, oh, how shall we deal with the Olympics? Because they are not being nice to the Dalai Lama, who is a good friend of mine.

"And then this earthquake and all this stuff happened and I thought, 'Is that karma, when you're not nice that the bad things happen to you?'"

Obviously the Chinese aren't going to take it lying down. In addition to her films being banned in China and Hong Kong, Christian Dior has disassociated itself from her comments.

This leaves Stone with no other option than to apologize for her comments.

Surely, if her 'karma' is good she would not have faced this wrath. :)
