Mobile Phone Use Reveal Relationships

It appears mobile phones are not as lifeless as they are supposed to be.

A study in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found that your mobile phone knows who your friends are and sometimes, even before you do.

By analyzing calling patterns, scientists "were able to infer which contacts were friends with 95 percent accuracy. In some cases, the patterns revealed a friendship in the making months before people declared someone a pal".
