A vaccine for AIDS.

Research conducted over 7 years in Thailand has given hope to some 33 million people around the world who have AIDS.

The study using a combination of 2 vaccines revealed that those who had taken the vaccines had 31.2% less chances of contacting AIDS.

The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/Aids (UN/Aids) have lauded the result.

However, it has to be remembered that further corroborative research have to be done in order to determine its effectiveness.
